Here at S is for Strychnine we are exploring the art and craft of storytelling.

I've always been fascinated by how art gets made and I believe studying the process of creating makes us better at it. Over the years I've spent countless hours reading interviews, biographies, and early works of my favorite authors trying to understand how they did what they did.

Many of these posts, therefore, contain exercises, notes, and rough drafts compiled from my own daily writing practice. My goal here is to offer a look at how one aspiring writer is learning to write.
